Carrière professionnelle
I am passionate about environmental protection, climate action, and sustainability, which is why I chose to build my career in this field. I currently work as a Sustainable Development Specialist at the Scienteens Lab of the University of Luxembourg, where I design and facilitate activities and workshops on sustainable development.
I have been involved in youth representation from a young age, first through the Youth Parliament and later as a UN Youth Delegate in the Luxembourgish delegation, attending the High-Level Political Forum and the 77th UN General Assembly in New York in 2022. I am currently serving as a Climate Youth Delegate for Luxembourg (April 2025–December 2026), representing Luxembourgish youth within the official delegation of the Ministry of the Environment at international climate conferences, including COP30 in Belém and SB63 and SB64 in Bonn. I am also a member of the European Sustainable Development Network (ESDN) Youth, where I work with other committed young people on sustainability and the 2030 Agenda.
Parcours universitaire
I hold an MSc in Governance of Sustainability from Leiden University, where I combined my interests in environmental and political sciences by connecting central themes from environmental science with political and social questions. This enabled me to deepen my knowledge of climate change, energy transitions, ecosystems, and more. I have also contributed research in the field of international climate finance and “Climate Clubs.” My bachelor’s degree from University College Maastricht provided me with a solid interdisciplinary foundation in politics, public policy, and economics.
Que signifie pour vous le développement durable ?
Sustainable development is a framework in which every decision and subsequent action should ensure that it does not adversely affect present and future generations, their ability to meet their basic needs, or their right to a clean and healthy environment. In this way, sustainable development provides a framework for maintaining the environmental foundations on which life depends.
According to Resolution 76/300, adopted by the UN General Assembly in July 2022, everyone has the right to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment. This right is intrinsically linked to sustainable development, since our biosphere is the foundation upon which social and economic development takes place.
